RunFit -- Strava Support

Help with connecting Strava, managing imported data, privacy, and contacting support.

Connect Strava

  1. Open RunFit and scroll to Activity sources section.
  2. Select Connect with Strava button.
  3. Strava will ask you to authorize RunFit to access the activity data needed.
  4. After authorization, your run activity data will begin importing automatically.
  5. Upon returning to the page after a run, select Check for new runs.

RunFit is designed to keep your fitness data local to your browser/device rather than maintaining a user account or authenticated application database.

Disconnect Strava

  • Open RunFit and scroll to Activity sources section.
  • To stop RunFit from accessing your Strava account, disconnect Strava by selecting the Disconnect button. You can also revoke access directly from your Strava account's connected-app settings.
  • Disconnecting automatically removes all Strava activity data that has been imported into your local RunFit storage.

    Delete imported data

Use RunFit's data-management controls to remove imported activities and locally stored application data. Because the application is local-first, deleting that local data removes the app's copy from that browser/device.

  • Open RunFit and scroll to the bottom of the page.
  • Select Delete all local data button.
  • This deletes all data stored, including your Strava authentication.

    Privacy

RunFit is designed around local processing and local storage. Fitness data is not uploaded to a RunFit user-account database. Some network communication is still necessary for features such as connecting to Strava and sending a support request.

    Read the full Privacy Policy.
